I love epic music! For me it is a perfect combination of the classic orchestral scoring, chorales and electronica music that I have enjoyed for decades. This stuff inspires me, and is a great companion as I write away on an exiting piece of fiction. Therefore, on Mondays I share a new piece by various artists on the blog… Epic Music Mondays!

I love Epic music too. It is so powerful and when I write I have my headphones on leading on inspiring me to push beyond, to see where I myself can go. I can’t describe it. It resonates deep within and allows me to soar above the boundaries of my own existence.

Ah, I agree 100%! In truth, I love all sorts of music, but all flavors of epic music are my go-to soundtrack when I write. Movie scores often work well too, depending on what I’m writing… but if they’re not matched well I’ll start thinking about the movie. ;-)

oh I agree on the movie scores as well… currently I have Battle of Five armies loaded on my ipod and I have almost memorized it.
