Ryan’s trunks were yanked off with an underwater nip.

Mam!” he scolded.

His mother bobbed up from the harbor grinning, then offered him a sealskin.

“No Mam, I gave back your selkie skin that Da stole. ‘Tis yours again!”

“Tis not my skin, son… ‘tis yours. Come, an’ truly swim.”
