Aethereal Engineer 
It replays in his mind.
The wights surrounding them.
His friends about to succumb.
Their quest to heal the land about to fail.
His blade covering their escape.
The weight of swarming hands.
The bite of gnashing teeth.
His sacrifice.
A memory haunting undeath.
As a monster wanders the dungeon.
