“Child?” she giggled, naked on the ceiling. “I’m five, wizard!”
“Old for a spider, but not for a human.”
She descended on a string of webs. “Falling in the cauldron, made me human?”
He smiled at her four eyes and fanged grin. “Mostly.”

Wow, I want this as a book! Great work at making me want to know what strange Spiderlight-like backstory this child has. And, of course, how she gets thrown into saving the world (or just herself. Not everything is marvel of course).

Thank you, I wanted to do a spider character that was much more inspired by Lucas the Spider and Ponyo than rather than a scary being.
She’s cute, curious and smart. I’ve actually got some ideas for her in a longer set of stories where she even has spider-related magic that the wizard helps her learn to use.
