Flash Fiction: Midnight’s Chime

The dainty princess tackled the lithe, fleeing prince. “Wait! I really like you!”

He became a burly, bearded man as midnight chimed.

Cinder? The blacksmith?” she gasped.

In turn, her illusion dropped… and he held a thick, strong woman atop him.
