“But, wildling is just what we call you.”
He crossed his arms. “To our ears, you compare us to animals. Do you know our unkind name for you?”
Pepper shook her head.
“Thieves.”
She frowned, then nodded. “I’ll guard against saying it again. I’m sorry.”
