“Why do you have your sister’s clothes?” Pepper asked, taking the boots. “Is she naked and hopeless somewhere?”
“No,” Briar laughed. “Lilly keeps them with the cat’s tack, but she hasn’t felt like riding while as full as the moon with her first child.”
