Dru sighed. “I’m glad you don’t hate me.”
“I could never,” Cryton said.
“May I say something strange?” Dru asked.
“Alright.”
“I’m going to talk to you like a girl for a minute. And it’s going to sound silly, and frivolous.”
“Alright?”
Dru returned to brushing. “I love your hair!”
