Flash Fiction: A City in Flames

A new fire crops up, dancing across a peaked rooftop and along the city’s skyline of half-timbered buildings.

Church bells toll as the flaming dragon leaps to the next gable, its long body a flaming arc.

It turns. It sees him.

A last hero against the inferno.
