“Run!” Briar yelled, urging their feline mount to haste. “Run friend!”
Pepper gasped as the creature slither-swam across the water like an elegant silver ribbon. “That’s an eel of unusual size!”
“It is!”
“Do they eat, brownies?!”
“They’ll eat humans!”
