I love epic music! For me it is a perfect combination of the classic orchestral scoring, chorales and electronica music that I have enjoyed for decades. This stuff inspires me, and is a great companion as I write away on an exiting piece of fiction. Therefore, on Mondays I share a new piece by various artists on the blog… Epic Music Mondays!

Ah, John Williams. One of my favorites! Both the “Final Duel” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L63In39n86c) and “The Emperors Death” (https://youtu.be/oziz8lT35DE?t=5s … which I think is the piece you are alluding to) are masterful! I have all of John William’s “Star Wars” scores, and I’ve been listening to them liberally while writing a space-fantasy epic of my own recently. :-)
