“Master, what is the origin of magic?” the child asked.

The old wizard pondered his answer. “It began when the gods created themselves, and then all things.”

“So the gods, are artists?”

“Art and artist. And glorious as both.”

Now her eyes pondered. “Then what are wizards, like us?”

“Muses.”
