A dozen hobgoblins chasing him, Nim shouted at Podge. “Do something!”

The wizard’s apprentice pointed Waldorf’s Wonky Wand. “Uh…Wondrous!?

Half the hobgoblins keeled over with incapacitating flatulence.

“Eww,” the orc boy uttered dodging a sword. “Again!”

Wondrous!

The wand shot a hail of exploding chickens.

Boys and monsters ran screaming.

    1. Hobgoblins, in my Burus stories, are big goblins that are usually slim, tough and about a head shorter than a typical man or woman. Regular goblins are hobbit-sized. With their size, hobgoblins have higher status and are the ones in charge of goblin society. They are militaristic and as prone to being mentally unstable as regular goblins are.

      1. I can picture them perfectly now, thanks for the info! I guess they’d be something like boss goblins them, those kind of mobs you could have an epic battle with 🤔
