Hovering on her broom, the old witch offered a hand. “Climb aboard, lovely! We’ve got a long ways to travel!”
The bearded wizard straightened his pointed cap, then bounced his staff before it levitated and he sat upon it. “I will have you know, Madam, that I can drive stick!”
“Aww, and here I was looking forward to you hanging on and spooning me the whole way there!” she cackled.
“Later, my dear,” he nodded slyly as they rose into the night. “Later, and until dawn!”
