Flash Fiction: Trust

“For the good of our people, we must work together.”

He hesitated at her pale, offered hand.

“I understand why a druid would find me abhorrent,” she said. “Necromancers have done many evils. But if you can trust me, I’ll show you I only empower and protect the dead.”
