Poetry: Malediction

Include amid your praises,

King

My Malediction:

For laid in the ashes

Of witches you have burned

Are my wife and daughters

My heart is charred black

Seared of all but hate

I shall make you my brother

In pain

A dear fellow witness

To a family in flames

    1. Thank you, Deby. :-)

All the pictures are from free to use images, mostly from pixabay.com . I crop, resize and convert them (along with sometimes adding other effects) with a free program called Paint.Net. I add the text effects using another free program called Inkscape.

      1. Thanks for the info. I’ve been using a program called Canva for other things, and I did a quick snippet in a square format that should work on Instagram and Facebook. It looks okay, although as I go on I may find the Canva backgrounds don’t quite suit my fantasy snippets.
