Flash Fiction: Counterspell

Her feet now roots breaking bathroom tile, Gail found the incantation on her phone. She spoke it going rigid, her lips becoming bark.

The curse of lignification reversed.

Gasping, she smiled looking in the mirror. Then the young witch noticed that her hair had remained a mane of leaves.
