Flash Fiction: Cookies

“I should have trust issues accepting baked goods from a witch in a gingerbread house.”

“That’s just a joke illusion,” she said, feeding him a cookie.

He fed her. “They’re good.”

“I made them with love, potion.”

There were crumb kisses. “Unnecessary.”
