Aether Prompt Winner: Scribe of the Vault

The Scribe of the Vault of Orendathos won the March 20th Aether Prompt, with a wee-one in the undergloom:

What an ugly thing, Ze thought. The softness of the chubby, hair topped morsel was not only strange for the Bilewood, but also because it made him wonder at the kind of creatures that might live beyond the undergloom.

He stepped from behind the tree, his teeth surely catching the light from the hole the small animal fell through.

No reaction.

No sudden transformation. No emerging coat of slime. Not even a terrifying-

Then Ze cuffed his ears.

The thing had grinned and begun to… hiccup? No.

Laugh!

“Please don’t hurt me,” Ze quickly pleaded. “I can serve!”

Congratulations! Now you’re in the running for the 2019 AETHEREAL ENGINEER WRITER SUPPORT PRIZE PACKAGE! How might he, or possibly you, perchance win such fabled treasure as this? Take a look at my weekly Aether Prompts and find out!

  1. Awesome job, Scribe of the Vault!

I would like to talk about these prompts and stuff on my own blog tomorrow – does a pingback count for any points for the author?

Also also, how should I cite the creator of the picture? Is that you?
