“You can, forgive me?” Dru asked, wiping her eyes.
Cryton nodded. “Yeah.”
A chill wind billowed snow past the huddled girls.
“Dru, my ass is fr-rr-eezing…”
They broke their embrace. “I’ve got a sled on the spring’s bank,” Dru said, pulling up Cryton’s hood. “With pelts, and an emberstone warmer.”
