Cryton looked slack at the floor. “Eomoi must be bled dry! Was my failure to stop Kinren so great that now the whole country bends to his puppet king?”
Dru became somber. “The battle you died in, was lost.”
“The other Loyalists?”
“Many were killed that day, the rest scattered.”
