The Tanzerine were apathetic and ruthless. Yellow, flat faced killers with perpetual grins whose visage unnerved humans.
"So your powers are superhuman aim, throwing and... juggling?" "Uh-huh. It's a lot of balls up in the air, I know."
"You were godlike." "I was alone." "You were a machine." "Now I've simplified to human." "A human, woman." "A loved, human woman."
"And that's how she dumped me," he sighed. Sue found the courage to slip closer, surprising him with a kiss. "I won't."
"The future's in danger. Why'd he travel time to put us on a blind date?" "The date's not important. I think we are."
