Flash Fiction: On the Lake

“Let me kiss you.”

“A-already?” Bill asked.

She caressed his arm. “Let me lift your curse from that temperamental witch.”

“But, I haven’t even fought the dragon turtle yet,” the beefy bullfrog gulped, smitten.

Frog Queen Lakesong leaned in. “And I’m no longer a princess… but I am still single…”

    1. Thank you, Diana. :-) Indeed, this is the moment of true love’s kiss in my fairy tale, but not the end of the story by far. ;-)

      You might remember transmogrified Bill and and his mentor Reeda from a few shorts I did early this year. It’s a back-burner story for all ages I’m slowly percolating on. :-)
