Flash Fiction: We Few Are the Tribe That Remains

In frozen soil, Nature held its secret safe. It was mankind’s arrogance and denial that freed it.

A cut put it in a man. The man brought it to civilization. By the time he died, most were doomed.

We few are the tribe that remains.

We’ve learned our place.
