Flash Fiction: Mentor

“Aren’t you here to help me save the world, not mentor my love life?”

“Listen to an old woman from an alternate future, okay? Go and talk to her.

Chris left, and CeCe returned to her datapad. With the teenager gone, she pulled up a picture of him: Old, happy and with his arms around her.

“Go and fall in love with me thirty years early… you deserve it.”
