Flash Fiction: Trans-Inorganic Virus

“Whaddayamean, it wasn’t the flu?”

“It was the trans-inorganic virus.”

Her headlights turned-on. “What?”

Her husband lifted a mirror, and her windshield wipers flailed in surprise. “Oh God! I’m a Porsche!

Phil’s hand gently caressed her hood. “But you’re still beautiful, Gladys.”

Oh God! I’m your mid-life crisis!
