Flash Fiction: Secret Identity

Ultra-Light shook reading the logs.

She looked to the children she’d rescued from the lab that had once held her captive. They played, enjoying their powers. The boy made gears of dark energy and the girl a stormy little cloud.

“The logs identify your mother,” she said. “She’s a super.”

The kids turned, hopeful.

“She’s… me.”
