Snow Day

Children ran up the snowy hill. Left behind with his birch bark sled, the tiny goblin boy sighed at the great distance to the top in his pom-pom hat. “Humans stink.”

“Need a lift?” a mitten-clad girl asked.

Tucked under her arm, he smiled. “Some ain’t bad.”
