War Cries

We’re heroes. The hundred men who defeated a thousand orcs.

They fought like lions roaring war cries.

Ambushed in fog.

Mired in mud.

We slaughtered them to the last.

After, I learned what they were crying in orcish.

“Mercy”.

I’m no hero.

I’m a butcher.
