Art-Tastic Tuesday: A Krampus In My Stylus by Jeff Lee Johnson

A Krampus In My Stylus by Jeff Lee JohnsonClick the picture below for full-size. On Art-Tastic Tuesdays I feature a selected piece of visual art that I have come across. These are pieces that have inspired my writing or beautifully frame some concept or another that I have already written or want to write about. I present them without commentary so they may inspire you without the burden of my perspective, and pictures have links to the artists’ blog or website if at all possible.

If you are ever curious as to why a particular piece is special to me, or use it for a writing prompt and want to share, please drop a comment!

I’ve only known about Krampus for a few years, but he has already become an endearing Yuletide presence to me. As a man who was once a kid picked on by a lot of “Naughty” children that Santa still managed to reward as “Nice”… It gives my inner child a sense of revengeful glee to imagine Krampus chasing them down and stuffing them into a sack on their way to being eaten!

On behalf of fat kids with glasses everywhere, I give Krampus thanks!

  1. I only discovered Krampus last year and was very pleased to find out there was something taking care of the bad kids, Big hugs and love to the fat kids, bespectacled kids and all of us out there who don’t fit the ‘norm’ Krampus will avenge you! Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas and happy new year Jason, I look forward to more of your brilliant posts in 2017 and beyond x

    1. Thank you so much for the holiday cheer, Lucy! Happy Christmas to you as well. :-) Your wit and encouragement throughout the year means a great deal to me, and I hope that with all I’m working on for 2017 that I’ll entertain you even more next year than this one!
