mwm_pngA weekly compilation of collected microfictions composed by yours truly. If your time is short, these are shorter!

The elemental chickens
strutted around, tiny
bundles of flame setting
fires where they pecked.

"Some hot deal," the farmer
groaned.
Ana didn't believe in God,
but her son did. To him,
God was a 60 meter monster
with crystal spikes who made
the bad robots go away.
The meter long caterpillar
lurched forward. Bugaboo
knew the radiation would
kill her, but she would
save her human family and
crew.
Buzzkill swung his
chainsaw. "Hold still!"

Screaming, Fraidy Kat
dodged it. "The 'fraider
I get, the FASTER I get!"
Bree checked the study
hall. "I remembered another
incarnation last night."

"We were knights," Matt
said.

She nodded. "I know
swordfighting now."
"I remember when we were
nine, best friends swapping
kisses."

"Did you ever feel like
that again?"

"I do... right now."
"You think there's a
connection between us, but
in my past life dream... I
murdered you!"

"That's not a connection?"
