Flash Fiction: Mythos

He petted the metal owl. In response, the clockwork bird spun its head and hooted.

“Bubo isn’t a part of our mythos,” Athena sighed.

“He is now,” Hephaestus said, grinning at his handiwork. “Titans may clash, but stories like his keep us in humanity’s heart.”
