Flash Fiction: Goblin

As a boy in my grandmother’s cottage, I dreamed I met a green goblin girl living deep in her cellar.

We played boardgames, and were secret friends.

After I inherited the house, a goblin woman came upstairs.

“I’ve missed you,” she said.

“I’ve missed you, too.”
