Flash Fiction: Lost Mountain

The dirigible drifted over the fragile stone spires of a ruined mountaintop city.

“It puts Machu Picchu to shame,” Clarkson said.

“It shames London!” Miss Seyler marveled.

“What does a Nazi occultist want here?”

“A spell,” she said. “One to end the world.”
