Flash Fiction: In-Person

The girl is nervous as the author signs her well-worn hardcover.

“She’s a great character,” she manages to say. “She means a lot to me.”

“Me too,” he nods. ‘“I needed her in my head when I was alone.”

He smiles returning the book. “Now she’s in your head.”
