Flash Fiction: Dragon

He pointed his knife at the boy. “An oversized toad won’t stop me.”

“Dragon,” the child corrected.

The kidnapper shook his head, lunging as the chunky critter in the kid’s arms hissed.

A blast of frost and ammonia evoked his scream.

Dragon,” the boy repeated.
