Flash Fiction: Repaired

She looked on in profound wonder as he tightened the final screw.

The little girl flexed her new arm’s elegant steel fingers. “Whoa!”

Cornelius smiled in the Yukon cold. “Fixed like one of my motley cyborg sled dogs!”

She hugged him in the snow.
