He hit pause. “I don’t know why the remote is magic, Jen. It just is.”
Levi pulls a knife. She can’t move or scream.
“I’ve killed you so many times. You don’t know.”
He lifts her chin with a cold blade.
“I just hit rewind. Like it never happened. It’ll be fine.”
