The Wolf in My Soul

She beckoned him out of the woods with clawed fingers. “Please come here, Noah.”

He emerged far larger than the white elder. “You’re a werewolf? Did you do this to me?”

“Not intentionally,” Meri said. “The wolf in my soul awakened the one sleeping in yours.”
