Yesterday’s Toys

“Awe, they’re snuggling,” Joy says. “I remember these.”

He approaches the Bio-Bears huddled together in the abandoned building. “They’re cowering.”

“They’re just old, broken toys.”

He looks over their scars. “They’re gen-gineered life. They were never toys.”
