“Is my human form unconvincing?” Ordo asked.
“No, it’s handsome,” Jane smiled.
“I wanted to avoid attention,” the alien sighed. “Modeling my appearance from your popular media was a mistake.”
Her arm entwined tighter with his. “Maybe, but I like it.”
