The child narrows her gaze at the silver robot girl. “You’re not Jo.”
“Yes, I am.”
“Jo is a three-meter-tall war-bot!”
“My full body prosthesis is getting serviced. I’m in a loaner.”
“You’re, a girl?”
“A woman, a cyborg. Today, can I just be a kid?”

Aww, that ending feels so heartbreaking to me. I also love the idea of this, it’s quite interesting! Almost like body swapping, but with robots and AI. :D

Glad you enjoyed it. :-) My thought was if they can put your brain in a robot body, they should be able to put it in another, like driving a different vehicle. But no mater what you’re in, nothing can fully restore innocence and humanity lost.
