
As an 80s D&D kid, I grew up with the artwork of the great Larry Elmore all around me. To say his illustrations and paintings fired my imagination is an understatement. The above cover art from the 1983 Dungeons & Dragons “Red Box” Basic Set is likely one of his most iconic creations. It always stirs a sense of epic adventure in me. :-)
